When I’m not writing, I’m probably upside down—physically, not figuratively! I’ve been a yoga and meditation instructor for more than 10 years, and I’d love to share that passion with you in my bookish, nerdy way!

So I created BardCover Yoga.

BardCover Yoga classes combine yoga sequencing with storytelling.

As yogis, what can we learn from great stories? As someone who writes novels with strong themes, and as someone who loves novels that pack a huge emotional punch, I say, quite a bit.

I select well-loved novels (such as The Wonderful Wizard of Oz) and I create yoga classes transforming the storytelling elements of plot, theme, and character into pose sequences, meditations, and intentions on your yoga mat.

I’ve done several of these themed classes live, with very happy student feedback, and I want to bring them to you!

What is BardCover Yoga?

Each video contains a full-length yoga class, and when you purchase a class, you will have forever access to it. If you haven’t read a particular book or have completely forgotten the story, no worries—you don’t need to be an expert. I’ll tell you all you’ll need to follow and enjoy the class and its themes.

The classes are designed for all levels of practitioners, so it’s great if you have yoga experience, but if you don’t, that’s also great—I’ll provide verbal cueing and modifications throughout the class so everything will be as accessible as I can make it. And the more you do the classes, the more familiar you’ll get with the movement!

Each class (with forever access!) is an investment of just $9.99.

If you want to be alerted to new classes in the BardCover Yoga collection, you’ll want to be on my email list!

I look forward to leading you through a world of imagination, adventure, and inspiration on your yoga mat.

Oh! and..

Keep checking this page, because I’ll be adding to the library of classes periodically. If you have requests for a story you’d love to see turned into a yoga class—we all have our favorites and I definitely take requests!—please email me at jen@jensafrey.com and tell me your suggestions! Remember, the work needs to be in the public domain, so I’ll be working with mostly classic literature and myths.
